--- May already, boy has time gone by. We have done lots of travelling & work in the last 5 months. I will be posting some new pictures. We leave for Costa Rica on May 23rd for 5 weeks. It should be fun. After that we will be going to Mexico for Aug.

Nov.30, 2010
--- Oh my god, it is just about X-mas. Vegas, what a trip. We got back on the island Tuesday morning & back to work Wed. Gord – DM-Wed, taught gas blender Thurs., equipment repair-Fri, DM-Sat, fun dive with Wendy on Sunday. I got 11 lion fish on Sat. & 5 on Sunday. Wendy got 2 on Sunday & was tagged on the left hand by one of mine while she was trying to kill it with her knife(last dive of the day). Instant pain & swelling. She soaked her hand in hot water for 3 hours & took pain killers. Swelling is going down & she can move her fingers. Tried swimming today, but the pressure of the hand going through the water was to much @ this point in time. Talking to others, it may take a week to 3. Got my new iPod up & running. Nice toy. Gust have to get a fast internet connection to update to the latest software. The TV hard drive sure is nice. Works great. Glad I bought the Seagate model, lot better then the Western Digital I was looking for. Now we can watch movies when the cable goes out.

--- End of Oct. Where has the time gone. Life is good. We are booth working on a regular bases. 2 weeks and we are off to Las Vegas for the DEMA show. Looking forward to seeing friends and eating some good food. Uploaded some new pictures the other day.

--- It's Aug. all ready. We both have been busy teaching. Updated the photo album. Started to do a revision to the web page, may take some time. Things will change.
We will be in Las Vages Nov. 16 - 20 for the DEMA show.

--- Well it's mid July & we just spent 4 weeks in Beleze ( June that is ), you know, it takes time to go through 500 + photos & decide what to put on the web page. I just finished up loading some more. Check them out. We are off to Roatan for July 22 - 25, Gord's bday & our anniversary. Will have to post more after the weekend. Take care all. We miss you.

--- Here we are in 2010. What have we been up to? Well we have been to the main land for a week end, check photo's. Gord also took a course on Deep Diving, now certified to 50 meters/165 feet, what a rush. My best friend Harvey was here for 2 weeks in January, had lots of fun diving & getting cought up on news from Vancouver. We are getting ready to do another visitors visa run to Belize next week. --- Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.
Yes it is that time of the year again. Only differance is, there is no snow or cold weather (well it was cold the last few days. Mid 20's) (hay that is cold here). The year has gone by fast.
We gust got back from a 5 1/2 week trip through Nicaragua & 4 days in Costa Rica. Great time. WE are hoping things will start to pick-up soon. May have to teach X-mas day.
My buddy Harvey is coming down in January, for 2 weeks of diving. Looking forward to seeing him.

Sept. 21/09
--- Well we just got back from a visa run into Belize & a 3 week holiday in Guatemala. Not enough time or money to see it all. We will just have to go back. New pics uploaded.

Aug. 9/09
--- What a summer. We have been busy Teaching & taking courses. Life is good. Last weekend was Sun Jam, the biggest rave in Central America. Was not as busy as they thought it would be, but still well attended.
This weekend was Utila Carnival 2009 & we went to a FREE reggae concert, starring Eric Donaldson -- direct from Jamaica!

June 11/09
--- Can't believe it is the middle of June. Things have been quiet here on Utila the last month or so. Work wise that is.
We have had a few earthquakes. The first 1 was 7.1 centered about 50 miles from us & then there was another 1 abouta week ago, 5.5 centered about 30 - 40 miles away. The second quake we were home. We were on the mainland.
We went to Omega Tours just out side of La Ceiba. We went white water rafting the first day. The second day we did a jungle hike up into the mountains to a waterfall. The third day we paddled in the mangroves looking for monkeys. We could hear the earth quake coming up the valley, before we felt it.
We are now back on Utila. Starting to get a little bit busyer, sould be able to pick up some work sone.

April 27/09
--- We just came back from a week in Copan. Had a good time, but spent far to much money. We visited the Ruinas, took lots of pictures. Took a 4 hour hike, swam in the water falls & rode the 16 zip lines. Longest 1 is over a km long. The next day we went to Finca El Cisne, a ranch/coffee plantation. Rode horses for 3 hours (have not been on a horse for 35 years). Had a tour through the coffee processing plant. It was built in 1935 & is water powered. Swam in the hot springs & stayed over night. We also went to Macaw Mountain. Drank lots of beer & win. Had to catch the bus @ 5:15 to get back to Utila in 1 day.

April 15/09
--- New Pictures. We have both been doing some freelance work, but nothing steady. Yesterday we went to Cayos Cochinos for the 3rd time, and we had the best dives yet. It's getting warm, not air con weather yet. That will be in the summer.

--- Uploaded some NEW pictures. Have rented the other bedroom. $250 a month is easier.

--- We have now been on Utila for a week. Been diving most days. Looking for a cell phone today (they are cheap down here & we need to have a # for looking for work). Talking about work, we will be gone around talking to some of the shops this week.
As for the diving, we have seen seahorses & I have a short video of a whale shark. Will try to post some new pictures this week. We have rented a 2 bedroom apartment for $500 US a month & we have been looking for someone or two to rent the other bedroom from us. --- We are now on Roatan. Arrived on Sat. to watch a beautiful sunset. Sunday went diving, great to get back into warm water. Finely got a room @ Chillies. $20 US a day. Storm last night & high winds today. Maybe go back to diving tomorrow, depending on weather.

--- Just sold my truck. Now we have no vehicles.

--- Still cleaning & painting. Dakota 4X4 still for sale & house is not yet rented. House phone is turned off as of Feb 25. We leave for Seattle on Feb 26 & fly to Roatan on Feb 28...
